Glossary

Here's a list of some of the more common acronyms and terms we use.  If you're new to CrossFit, hopefully this will be helpful as you get going.  

 

WOD: workout of the day

AMRAP: as many rounds (or reps) as possible

C2B: chest to bar

T2B: toes to bar

KBS: kettlebell swing

MetCon: Metabolic conditioning (the high intensity, fast paced, make you feel sick workouts)

SDHP: sumo deadlift high-pull

HSPU: handstand push-up

JPU: jumping pull-up

OHS: overhead squat

DUs: double-unders (twice under your feet w/ the jump rope on a single hop)

GHD: glute-ham developer 

UB: unbroken (as in you can't break the set or you must start over)

COHP: chin over horizontal plane in pull-up

COVP: chin over vertical plane in pull-up

AFAP: as fast as possible
